The idea is not that you do everything perfect. The idea is that you build a good posture of foundation

practice towards being able to do certain patterns of movement if you are not yet able.
Also, know that Cymbals take practice. It will come in time if you come to class, check your ego at the
door and surrender to the process of learning.

5. I limit class size to 12 so that I can really observe, mentor and work with everyone attending.

missed a day (or want a bonus class if you have perfect attendance). Please understand that I am
committing myself to all of you for 6 weeks and I ask that all interested students do the same. Also

1. BD tech 1 and Cymbals basics is open to all dancers. It is a benefit in some ways if you have had Belly
Dance instruction prior to our class however it is not required. Those who have already had class will
have to "re-learn" how to do certain movements, etc. Students who have not had Belly Dance will be
fortunate that they are "blank slates" and they can fully take in the instruction of this format.
It is necessary to begin Technique with me in Level 1. The reason being is that we use a whole new
language (of both speech/instruction and of technical execution). You will have to begin at the
beginning, laying down THIS foundation of technique. If you are ADVANCED in this format. If you have
everything covered in level 1. You will be invited to Level 2 at the end of the 12 week session. Trust me
when I say YOU WILL NOT BE BORED and YOU WILL BE CHALLENGED. With that said, its a lot of fun, great
exercise and an excellent foundation to be a performer (amateur or professional) of this art.
