Suhaila Salimpour is world reknown for her revolutionary belly dance training
format. Many of todays highest acclaimed dancers have attended her
school. Amy has been a student of her school since 2001. Suhaila has
granted Amy special permission to introduce the foundation of her format to
Florida.

Q: What makes this different than an every day belly
    dance class?

A: This format teaches physiology and breaks the
dance down into isolated single movements rather
than just teaching general "steps". The focus of the
class is to build muscle memory and an intuitive
connection with the various timings within  music. The
result is clarity of movement and a mastery of your
physical form within any style of this dance. The
format gives a dancer the tools in which to harness her
passion for dancing and channel that energy through
her physical vehicle (body) as a highly skilled artistic
    expression.

What to expect:
  • Expect to be challenged.
  • Expect to be inspired.
  • Expect to sweat.
  • Expect to ultimately dance in a way you've always dreamt
    but not yet experienced.
  • Expect to work.
  • Expect to laugh, have fun and make new friends.
  • Expect the unexpected.
